I purchased the Special Parts Takegawa 42mm round taper air filter for my next DIY air intake project which will be closely mounted off the throttle body and wanted more protection from dust and moisture so I also purchased this air filter cover. The price is reasonable as it will extend the life of the air filter and protect the engine from moisture. The quality of the air filter cover is excellent but I am not completely happy with the fitment of the cover on the air filter as it is a little loose but I think once it is mounted up on the motorcycle it should not be as noticeable to me. Another great product from Takegawa and so many different sizes in the range to match your application.

K & N's Powerful (YOSHIMURA) I bought it for Small Rain Countermeasure, it is for Takegawa's Type 1 but I attached it without problems (Although it is a little longer) Because it is not running in the rain, what is the key against rain performance?.
